GREENVILLE —
Gary William Ralstin, 63, of Quinlan, passed away Sept. 2, 2012, in Dallas.
He was born Aug. 3, 1949, in Guymon, Okla., to Herman and Jewell Hutchison Ralstin.
Gary worked for 14 years at Rockwall High School as a world geography teacher and as a U.S. history teacher. He was the head tennis coach for eight years. Gary was a member of Eastridge Church of Christ in Rockwall.
He is survived by his wife, Alecia Ralstin of Quinlan; sons Ryan Ralstin of Oklahoma and Britton Boyd of Quinlan; daughters Carey Wilmoth and husband Jarrod of Oklahoma and Angela Ralstin and fiancée Mike Lang of Oklahoma; a brother, Max Ralstin and wife Marilyn of Irving; sisters Margaret Phillips and husband Glen of Guymon, Okla., and Loretta Barnes and husband Jim of Guymon, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A graveside service is at 11 a.m. today at the Elm Hurst Cemetery in Guymon, Okla.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Eastridge Church of Christ in Rockwall.
Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
