GREENVILLE —
WOLFE CITY — Alowilda Wilburn, 94, of Wolfe City died Oct. 7, 2012, at her home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home chapel with Mickey Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Daughter of James E. and Madge Redman Davis, she was born March 5, 1918, in Greenville. On Dec. 24, 1937, she married Delbert Wilburn in Ladonia. Mrs. Wilburn was a homemaker and was a member of West Main Church of Christ in Wolfe City.
Survivors are three daughters, Ruth Cobb, Barbara Cockrell and Deborah Stevens; two sons, TruettWilburn and Jimmy Wilburn; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents, two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
