GREENVILLE —
Almaree Tarver, 91, of Texas City died Oct. 30, 2012, at Mainland Center Hospital in Texas City. Her service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethel CME Church in Neylandville with Rev. F.W. Thompson and Rev. J.P. Brown officiating. Burial will be at St. Paul Cemetery.
Visitation is from noon to 7 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home of Greenville.
Daughter of Rev. C.L. and Alma Morasee Wright, she was born Aug. 8, 1921, in Seguin. She was married to Charles Edward Tarver on March 28, 1943, in Greenville. Mrs. Tarver was a retired LVN nurse.
Surviving are a son, Charles Henry Tarver; daughter Valaree Tarver Beard of Texas City; a sister, Etoye Wallace of Fort Worth; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, two sisters, and a brother preceded her in death.
