WOLFE CITY —
Nancy J. Apple, 75, of Greenville passed away Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, at Hunt Regional Medical Center of Greenville.
Mrs. Apple was born on Nov. 30, 1936 to Robert and Core Lee LyBrand Moon in Dallas She married Robert Apple on Nov. 22, 1988 in Rockwall.
Mrs. Apple was a homemaker and member of Northside Baptist Church in Greenville.
Survivors are her husband of Greenville, three sons; James Dawson and wife Debie of Leonard; David Dawson and wife Wanda of Wolfe City and Gene Dawson and wife Darlene of Wolfe City; four daughters; Cynthia Dawson of Wolfe City, Reba Dawson of Bonham, Loretta Myers and husband Ron of Wolfe City and Jody Apple of North Carolina; 28 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Moon of Ladonia and James Moon of Albuquerque, N.M. ; a sister, Mildred Womack of Mesquite; along with several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Apple will be Monday, Aug.13, at 10:30 a.m. in the Calvary Baptist Church in Wolfe City, conducted by Bro. James Seigler. Burial will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery In Wolfe City.
The grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
A family night will be today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City.
The family request memorials are made to the American Lung Association.
