WAXAHACHIE — Clifton Conrad Bevill, 58, of Waxahachie passed away March 18, 2013, at his home.

He was born Sept. 6, 1954, in Hunt County to Lester Theadore and Opal Hester (Buckholt) Bevill.

Clifton attended Greenville High School and served in the U.S. Navy for four years. He was a member of the American Legion and was also a Mason.

He had a very dry sense of humor, loved working with wood and working on cars. He was devoted to the Lord and was a loving father and grandfather.

Survivors include one daughter, Lauren Bevill of Waxahachie; one son, Hunter Bevill of Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.; grandchildren Riley Bevill and Reegan Bevill; two sisters, Marieta Hunter of DeSoto and Donna Jones and husband Glen of New Braunfels; the mother of his children, Lorie Bevill Duncan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Opal Bevill; one sister, Billie Harper; one niece, Wendy Wood; and one nephew, Jeff Hunter.

Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.
