Jerry Don Lambert, 69, of Commerce passed away Nov. 8, 2012, at his residence.
Services are at 2:30 p.m. today at the Church of Christ in Commerce, with David Gibson and Jim Ainsworth officiating. Interment will follow at Brigham Cemetery.
Visitation is from 1 p.m. today until service time at the church.
Born Dec. 7, 1942, in Detroit, Texas, Jerry Don was the son of William Guy and Johnnie Juanita (Turner) Lambert. On Nov. 7, 1987, in Commerce, he married Joan McCormack.
He was the president of Barton Good Oil Company, Inc. and was a member of the Church of Christ in Commerce.
His survivors include his wife, Joan of Commerce; former wife Mary Lambert Smith and husband Homer “Pete” Smith; son Derek Lambert and wife Rhonda of Heath; daughter Kimberly Webber and husband Joe of Collierville, Tenn.; grandchildren Hunter Lambert of Heath and Lauren and Tyler Webber of Collierville, Tenn.; sister Carlotta Hutchins and husband Elbert “Hutch” Hutchins of Austin; and nephews Jeremy and Jason Hutchins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Paul Harris, Trey Chaney, Ken Miller, Cary Weese, Bill Ballew, Michael Garrett, Dick King and Shane Kubacak. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank “Scoot” Chaney, Tim Kolacek, Denny Downing, James “Pistol” Roberts, John Kenny Smith, and Ted Oats.
