Barbara Nell Griffin, 73, passed away Oct. 10, 2012 in Dallas.
Barbara was born to Calvin and Maggie Andrews Bruton on Nov. 21, 1938, in Bell County. She married John F. Griffin Jr. in Dallas on July 10, 1964.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Maggie; her husband, John; one sister and three brothers.
Those left to celebrate her life include her son, Jimmy Griffin; daughters Sue Westbrook and husband Mark, Barbara Braswell, Nita Dodson and husband Randy, and Rita Mosley and husband Mark; a sister, Ivy Thompson; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.
A memorial service is at 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Heath.
