Ira Elmer Leeth, 91, of Grandview, Mo., formerly of Greenville, passed away Nov. 13, 2012, at the Life Care Center of Grandview. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, with the funeral service following at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 1416 Main Street, in Grandview, Mo.

Ira was born April 1, 1921, in White Pigeon, Mich., to Wilbur and Zulah Whisler Leeth. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grandview.
Ira was an oil worker, and he worked in a TV repair shop and a small engine repair shop. He was an Army veteran of WWII and was past VFW Commander of Post 2559 in Tawakoni.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years, Evelyn; and a son, Jerry Leeth.
Ira is survived by three sons, Ira Dewayne Leeth of West Tawakoni, Pat Thomas Leeth of Greenville and Preston Eugene Leeth of Greenville; two daughters, Rena G. Hall of Grandview, Mo., and Penny L. Leeth of Sand Springs, Okla.; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
