Nelson H. Turner of Point died June 30, 2012. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Richland Baptist Church in Richland. Burial will be in Benton Hill Cemetery in Richland.
Visitation is from noon to 7 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home in Greenville.
He was born May 7, 1948, in Richland, son of Morris and Lillian Turner. Mr. Turner was a retired machine operator. He was a Baptist.
Survivors are his wife, Frances Turner; a son, Morris DeWayne Turner; daughter Stacy Turner-Cork; brothers James, Glenn, Kenneth, Alvin and Ray Turner; sisters Maud Hay and Nelder Stewart; and two grandchildren.
His parents and a sister preceded him in death.
