Modene White Newman was born April 12, 1920, in Caddo Mills to James and Delpha White. She went to be with the Lord March 2, 2013.
Modene was a lifelong resident of Caddo Mills. Modene was married to Glen “Bus” Newman on Aug. 23, 1939.
Modene is survived by children: Glenn Earl Newman and wife Paulette, and Suzanne Thomason and husband Jimmy; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Vernon White.
Modene was preceded in death by husband of 73 years, Glen “Bus” Newman and son David Newman.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lynch Funeral Home in Caddo Mills. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Faith Bible Church with Rev. Kenneth Ballard officiating.
Interment will immediately follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Newman, Bob Newman, Rick Newman, Lee Newman, Jay Thomason and Tony Thomason.
