GREENVILLE —
Ronnie Edward Benson, 63, of Greenville passed away on Feb. 22, 2013, in Greenville.
He proudly served our country in the Navy from April 25, 1969, to March 11, 1970. Ronnie was born on Sept. 8, 1949, to Rev. J.E. and Lottie Benson in Farmers-ville.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Liz Bever Benson; brothers Perry Benson and Alfred Benson; two children, son Shane Benson and daughter Angela Benson; three stepchildren, daughters Bridgette McBee and Maggie Levy and son Jason Daughtery; 23 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Linda Benson LeVier.
His service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, with visitation beginnng one hour prior to the service.
