Bonnie Jean Montgomery of Greenville, formerly of Garland, passed away Saturday in Greenville.
She was born Aug. 6, 1928, in Farmersville; the daughter of William and Bessie Montgomery Rowan. She was married to Sam Montgomery in 1949 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1977.
She was retired from Kraft Foods and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Farmersville.
She is survived by her sisters; Jo Ann Rutherford and Jere Hardie, both of Fort Worth, and Jeanette Murphy of Farmersville. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home chapel in Farmersville with Dr. Bart Barber officiating. Interment will follow in Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville.
