Marvin Hall Jr.

GREENVILLE — Marvin Lester Hall Jr., 79, of Campbell passed away at the Matlock Place Health & Rehab of Arlington on Feb. 16, 2013.   

Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Memoryland Memorial Park with Chaplain John Mark officiating. Services are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.  Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Marvin was born on March 5, 1933, in Charleston, Miss., to Marvin Lester Sr. and Mildred Louise Bert Hall. He married Clara Mae Frost in 1951 in Roswell, N.M. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He worked as a general contractor/superintendent and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his sons, Marvin Hall III and wife Kelly and David Wayne Hall and wife Dorrise; sister Sandra Parker and husband Lynn; grandchildren Coty Williams, Clay Hall, Taylor Shanahan, Kyle Hall, Chelsen Hall and Chase Hall; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and the family would also like to thank his special friend, Peggy McAbee of Caddo Mills.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and daughter Mildred Kaye Williams.

Pallbearers will be Marvin Hall III, David Hall, Coty Williams, Clay Hall, Kyle Hall, Chase Hall and Sky Shanahan.
