GREENVILLE —
Mary Ellen Derrick, 70, of Greenville died Jan. 29, 2013, at a McKinney hospital. Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at East Side Church of Christ with Bro. Paul Washington officiating. Burial will be in Grundy Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home.
She was born in Kilgore to Weslie and Emma Sue Morse. She was a homemaker and a member of East Side Church of Christ.
Surviving are a son, Vinson Derrick of Greenville; a daughter, Vickie Mumphrey of Greenville; three brothers, Jessie Morris, Johnny Morris and John Wesley Morris, all of Greenville; two sisters, Annie Norris and Patricia Ann Morris, both of Greenville; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Her husband, parents, a son and a daughter preceded her in death.
