Carl Robinson

— Carl Henry Robinson was born Oct. 24, 1959, in Greenville to Mr. William Henry and Josie M. Robinson. Carl accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church of Greenville where he was a member while growing up; he also received his education in Greenville. Mr. Carl was a very loving person and will be truly missed.

He departed this life Dec. 27, 2012.

He leaves to cherish his memory, a dear devoted companion, Darlene Sanders of Cooper; an adopted son, “Buddy Lee”; one sister, Corlyn Cooper of Royse City; three brothers, William H. Robinson and John P. Robinson, both of Dallas, and Richard; a very favorite aunt, Lillie P. Blaylock; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by both parents, William Henry and Josie Mae Robinson; two sisters, Elrina and Vanessa Robinson; and one brother, Dilla G. Champion.

His homegoing services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rising Star Christian Church with Rev. Victor Champion officiating and Pastor Rosco Williams as eulogist. Burial will be in Grundy Memorial Park.

Visitation is from 10 a.m to 7 p.m. today at Grace & Mercy-Grundy Funeral Home.
