GREENVILLE —
Earl Jackson, 67, of Greenville died Aug. 31, 2012, in a Bonham hospital. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mt. Elem Baptist Church with Rev. James Anthony officiating. Burial will be at DFW National Cemetery in Arlington.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home.
Son of Eddie and Lenora Jackson, he was born in Commerce. He married Erma Armstrong in Greenville on Sept. 28, 2002. Mr. Jackson served in the U.S. Army. He was a laborer and a member of Mt. Elem Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; his mother of Commerce; a son, Shawn Jackson of Dallas; stepson Greg Armstrong of Greenville; two daughters, Tonya Evans of Dallas and Mechelle Lawson of Dallas; a host of grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
His father preceded him in death.
