Mary Faye Williams, 80, went home to be with her Lord on Aug. 5, 2012, in Fort Worth.
Mary was born in Greenville on July 25, 1932. She graduated from Greenville High School in 1950. Mary went on to become a bookkeeper for Commonwealth Bank for many years. She married James R. Hinson and had two children, Michael and Melissa.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and 17 brothers and sisters.
Those left to celebrate her life include her son, Michael Hinson and wife Esther; her daughter, Melissa Evans and husband Johnnie; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Sanctuary of Praise Assembly of God Church, 8341 Wyatt Drive, White Settlement, Texas 76108. A funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, at 10 a.m., also at the church.
A committal service will follow later that same day at 3 p.m. at Forest Park Cemetery in Greenville.
