GREENVILLE — Charles Ray Smith, 60, of Emory died Nov. 26, 2012 in a Greenville nursing home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, at Prairie Grove Baptist Church with Apostle Dwight Smith officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery in Emory.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was born in Emory to R.P. and Luetisha Smith. On May 3, 1971, he married Barbara Boyce in Emory. He was a retired from construction work, and was a member of Jacksonville Church of Deliverance.

Survivors include his wife of Emory; two daughters, Yashica Smith Conley and husband Dewey of Emory and Yashica Sandra Smith; three brothers, Apostle Dwight Smith of Emery, Paul Smith and wife Sandra of Greenville, Aubrey Smith and wife Anna Lou of Sulphur Springs; sisters Linda Boyce of Emory, Jania Stenline, Johnny Newhouse, Gwen Savage and husband Troy of Mineola, Florestine Karnegy of New York; five grandchildren; and nieces.
