GREENVILLE —
Newt E. Anglin died Nov. 21, 2012, at Rock Creek Health and Rehab Center in Sulphur Springs.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Stewart Cemetery in Commerce. Rev. Fred Randles will officiate. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
He was born July 25, 1921, the son of John T. and Martha Gibson Anglin in Campbell. He was in the Navy and served during World War II and also in the Korean War aboard the USS Philippine Sea. Newt was also a teacher.
He is survived by one sister, Martha Snider of San Angelo, and one brother, Milbern Anglin of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Travis Anglin, John Morris Anglin, Amos Anglin and Roma Anglin; and sisters, Neva Barnett, Ruby Leigh Donovan, Verda Hogue, Ara Evelyn Eddins, and numerous nieces and nephews.
