Esta “Sue” Harper Gray, 84, met with Jesus on Feb. 11, 2013. Her funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: will be at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Esta Lee was born April 8, 1928, in a cotton field in Crescent to Arland and Ethel Gibson West.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, and husband Tom Harper.
She was a wonderful mother to Mike Williams (Connie), David Williams (Kathy), Melinda Jackson (Eddie) and her dog, Tootsie; a loving “Nana” to Chris Renfro (Mandi), Jeremiah Williams, David Palmer, Cassi Wilson (Tanner), Cerrisa and Megan Arrington; great-grandsons Tye and Cade Renfro, Kyron and Eli Wilson and Jayden and Preston Arrington; caring sister to Ruth Reneau (Cliff), Ted West, Charles West (Nancy); a special aunt to many nieces and nephews; and a dear friend to all who knew her; she will be deeply missed.
