Randy Perkins

GREENVILLE — Randy Perkins, 50, went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Feb. 1, 2013.

He was the son of Donald Perkins and Katy Gasser.

Randy was employed at L-3 Communications for the past 30 years as a quality control engineer. He was a loyal and loving husband to his wife, Joy, of 18 years and a proud and dedicated father to his two sons, Joshua, 16, and Jacob, 13.

Randy loved spending time with his sons hunting, fishing and attending their sporting events. He was active in his church and always willing to volunteer his time to help others.

Randy is survived by his wife, Joy, and sons Joshua and Jacob of Campbell; brothers Chris Perkins and wife Martha of Dallas, Mike Perkins and wife Karen of Campbell, and Russell Perkins of Greenville; and sisters Donna Kay and husband Tony Wilson of Mesquite and Kim McKenzie of Greenville.  

Pallbearers are Gary Jones, Steve Martin, Chris Mountain, Steve Brown, Rick Perry and Tony Wilson.  

Visitation is at the First Baptist Church in Campbell at 10 a.m. today with the service following at 11 a.m. Randy will be laid to rest in the Brigham Cemetery in Campbell.

Coker-Mathews Funeral Home of Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
