GREENVILLE —
WOLFE CITY — Helen Ruth Lacy Odom, 94, of Greenville died Jan. 23, 2013, in Greenville at the Hunt Regional Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 16, 1919, in the Tidwell Community, Hunt County, to Nannie Morgan Lacy and Reece H. Lacy.
She was a member of Westview Methodist Church in Greenville. Mrs. Odom worked for many years in personnel and payroll for Foremost Dairy and Safeway.
She is survived by her son, James W. “Bill” Watson; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City, with Mike Weatherly officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City.
