Kathy Lynn Hendricks Scribner of Anna passed away Friday at her residence in Anna.
She was born Nov. 1, 1950, in McKinney; the daughter of Cecil L. and Johnnie Kemp Hendricks. She married Bobby Scribner on Feb. 14, 1969, in Melissa and he preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 2002.
Kathy was employeed by the Collin County Clerk office in McKinney and had worked for the county 30 years.
Kathy was a member of the Blue Ridge Baptist Church and she is survived by her children; Cinda Owen and husband Coby of Anna and Bradley Scribner and wife Christy of Caddo Mills.
She is also survived by her mother Johnnie Hendricks of Blue Ridge and one brother Clifford Kemp and his wife Jackie of Blue Ridge; and five grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her father Cecil Lee Henricks.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Blue Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Stan Fike and Rev. Shawn Bailey officiating and interment will be in the Stoney Point Cemetery following the services.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Blue Ridge Baptist Church in Blue Ridge. Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
