GREENVILLE — EMORY — A memorial service for Daniel Paul Foster, 54, of Emory is at 6 p.m. today at Lake Fork Baptist Church. Bro. Bobby Thomas will officiate.

Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home of Emory is in charge of arrangements

Dan died suddenly Dec. 29, 2012, near Lindale. He was born to Charles Edward and Ruby Earleen Paris Foster on May 14, 1958, in Quitman.

He lived in Alba as a child and then moved to Emory where he spent the majority of his life. He was well known by his community through his longtime work as a beloved member of the Terry’s Furniture family. Most recently he enjoyed working as a manager for Adam’s Furniture in Tyler. Dan loved to cook, fish, and spend time with his two children and grandson Ethan.

Survivors include his daughter, Shelley Rhiannon Foster Busby of Merit; son Kevin Daniel Foster of Mesquite; brothers Tom Foster and wife Markie of Tyler and Richard Foster and wife Annette of Emory; sister Charlene Tyndell of Emory; uncles Paul Foster and wife Carol of Alba and Roy Foster of Channing; his grandson, Ethan Michael Busby; and numerous other family members and friends

His parents preceded him in death.
