GREENVILLE — Bradley Joe Akins passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 29, 2012, in Greenville, at the age of 29.

Although he was only here for such a short time, he will leave a huge hole to fill in many people’s hearts who knew him. Even though he had many obstacles in his life he had to hurdle, one thing that never waivered was his love for the Lord. He was a true Christian in every sense of the word and those closest to him know this to be true.

Brad is survived by his parents, Robert Lynn and Gala Rene Akins; grandmother, Nelda Turner; grandfather, Joseph Akins; uncle, Gary Turner and wife Phyllis; aunt, Kristi Stanford and husband Jeff; and numerous cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by “Grandad” Jack Turner; grandmother, Linda Akins; great-grandparents, Van and Mildred Miller; Vesta Stansberry.

Visitation will be today, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Service. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Lynch Funeral Service chapel.
