GREENVILLE — Kenneth Wayne Hart, 79, passed away Aug. 11, 2012, in Bonham.

Ken was born in Dallas on Sept. 1, 1932, to his loving parents, Claude Lester and Opal Marcy Gaston Hart. He graduated from NTSU with an accounting degree in 1960 and passed the CPA exam in 1967. Ken married his wife of 36 years in Garland on Nov. 1, 1975. Ken was very active and loved to stay busy. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Korea, Japan and the Philippines from January 1950 through October 1953. He was a past president of the Greenville Rotary Club, owned Kenneth W. Hart & Co., CPAs, and Hart’s K Bar C Angus Ranch. He kept his whole family laughing with his sense of humor.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lester Ervin Hart; twin granddaughters Jamie Rochelle and Jessica Rani Hart; and a grandson, Brandon Bouyea.

Those left to celebrate his life include his wife, Carolyn Hart; sons Kenneth Wesley Hart and wife Nancy and Claude David Hart and wife Karen; a daughter, Marcie Renee Nestle and husband Shawn; three grandchildren, Robert Bouyea and wife Paula, Crystal Lynn Goddard and husband Heath and Karrah Weslynn Murray and husband Joey; seven great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Peters Funeral Home chapel.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
