GREENVILLE —
Faye M. Russell, 97, of Greenville, died Wednesday, July 4, 2012, in Oak Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Commerce. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Hailes officiating. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Russell was born in Campbell on June 8, 1915. She was the daughter of Alma George Hilbun and Mattie Chaffin Hilbun. She married Audrey Francis Husbands on Dec. 30, 1939 in Greenville. He preceded her in death on Jan. 15,1959. She married James Russell on Jan. 7, 1967 in Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1984. She was retired from retail sales and was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Charles Husbands and wife, Betty of Sulphur Springs and Bill Husbands and wife, Jannie of Commerce; daughters Frances Long and husband, James of Greenville and Shirley Helton and husband, Brad of Rockwall; grandchildren, Keith Husbands and wife, Carolyn, Lisa Nezer and husband, Gus, Tracy Husbands, Kelly Daily and husband, Eric, Julie Evans and husband, Jerry, Jeanne Smith and husband, Randy, James Scott Snyder and wife, Jennifer, Jennifer Watkins and husband, Spencer, Laura Helton, Cole Helton and wife, Lauren and Kelsi Long; twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both husbands; her parents; brother, A. G. Hilbun, Jr.; and sister, Anna Mae Brown.
Pallbearers will be James Snyder, Cole Helton, Keith Husbands, Spencer Watkins, Jerry Evans and Eric Daily.
