GREENVILLE —
Felicia Joi Taylor was the daughter of the late Carolyn Ann Redmon-Taylor; granddaughter of Florine Redmon; and niece of Linda Redmon-Willis, Eddie Will Redmon, James Harold Redmon and Jimmy Redmon.
She was 31. She passed away Aug. 24, 2012, in Plano following a long illness.
She graduated from Clear Lake High School in Clear Lake, Texas. She received a bachelor degree in English from Texas A&M University in Commerce. She taught fourth grade in the Garland Independent School District.
Surviving are her father, John D. Taylor of Rowlett; two nephews, John Chadwick Benton and Jarrett Benton, both of Rowlett; a sister, Shelisa Benton (Barmas) of Rowlett; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, her mother, grandfather and two aunts.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Price Temple Church of God in Christ in Greenville with Elder Fredrick Thomas officiating.
Burial will be in Grundy Memorial Park in Greenville.
Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at the church.
