John Decker

GREENVILLE — John E. Decker, 78, of Greenville passed away Oct. 10, 2012, while visiting relatives in Pennsylvania. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel.

Born March 14, 1934, in Derry, Pa., John was the son of the late Walter T. Sr. and Lucille Decker.

John is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Renea of Greenville; two sons and a daughter, John Decker Jr. and wife Geralyn of Hickory Creek, Scott Decker and wife Julie of Caddo Mills and Linda Payne and husband David of Quinlan; two brothers, Donald Decker and wife Cynthia of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Regis Decker and wife Margaret of Largo, Fla.; three sisters, Mary Rubino of Derry, Pa., Alice Clark of Latrobe, Pa., and Janet Shepherd and husband Rick of Springfield, Mass.; six grandchildren, Stephan Holder and Brian, Matthew, Brittany, Ashley and Michael Decker; seven great-grandchildren, Stephanie, Ryder, Duellie, Kahl, Cayden, Payton and Rylan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
