Jessie Maxine Shipp, 89, of Royse City passed away Oct. 22, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital in Rockwall.
She was born July 25, 1923, in Eastland to James and Anna Taylor.
She is survived by her seven children, Sammy Shipp of Royse City, Robert and Ida Shipp of Greenville, Andy and Mary Shipp of Cash, Tony and Jamie Shipp of Montana, Martha and John Gunnels of Houston, Mary Worley of Royse City and Wendy and John Watson of Tenaha, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Ray Shipp; her parents; three brothers and grandson David Gunnels.
Her funeral service is at 2:30 p.m. today in the Lynch Funeral Service chapel in Greenville.
