GREENVILLE —
FARMERSVILLE — Mrs. Dorothy Louise Pollard of Farmersville, Texas passed away Sunday evening in Plano Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Farmersville, with Dr. Bart Barber officiating. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Farmersville.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville.
She was born Oct. 21, 1926, in Quannah, Texas, the daughter of Eugene C. and Edna Ada Wells McCullough. She was married to John Pollard, and he preceded her in death in 1981. She was retired from the Collin County Sheriffs office in McKinney and also in her early years of employment worked at the Citizens State Bank in Princeton, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Farmersville, Texas.
Survivors are her sons, Barry Pollard and wife Rhonda, and Garry Pollard and his wife Linda all of Farmersville. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Bradley, Aaron, Shaun, Brent, and Amber Pollard, all of Farmersville, and two great-grandchilden, Brennen and Breelynn Pollard ,also of Farmersville.
Memorials may be made to the SPCA and First Baptist Church, Farmersville.
