GREENVILLE — William “Bill” Sheppeard, 63, of Greenville passed away June 30, 2012 in Dallas. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Salem-Kinser United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Shaddox officiating. Interment will follow at Brigham Cemetery near Campbell under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home.

Bill was born February 22, 1949 in Atlanta, Ga., to William Elbert Sheppeard and Emma Louise Houston Sheppeard. He was raised in Emory and in 1967, he graduated from Rains High School. He also graduated from Henderson County Junior College in 1969 and later attended Texas A&M. Bill had been employed by Raytheon in Greenville for many years and was most recently employed by C.S.C. in McKinney. He lived in Wills Point prior to moving to Greenville. He enjoyed playing Texas Hold’em Poker, fishing, woodworking and motorcycle riding with the Patriot Guard. Bill was a member of Salem-Kinser United Methodist Church in Greenville.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William Elbert Sheppeard on Dec. 9, 1977, and Emma Louise Sheppeard on July 2, 2002; brother Jim Sheppeard; and a half-sister, Charlsy Elaine Sheppeard Thibodeaux.

He is survived by a son, Luke Sheppeard of Terrell; daughter Summer Wilson and husband Tim of Canton; and one granddaughter, Kadence Wilson of Canton.
