William Hainsworth, 67, of Houston died Nov. 19, 2012, following a brief illness. A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Houston. On Sunday there will be a viewing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home in Greenville. Interment will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul Cemetery in Neylandville.
Son of Hattie Mae (Edwards) and William Hainsworth II, he was born July 26, 1945, in Houston. He married Ida Tarver on Dec. 22, 1968, in Greenville.
Survivors are his wife, Ida Tarver Hainsworth of Houston; daughters Angela Hainsworth of Chicago, Ill., and Alysia Landry of Kingwood; a brother, James Hainsworth of Houston; a sister, Sandra Glass of Houston; and five grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.
