Barbara McAbee

CADDO MILLS — Barbara Jean (Lambe) McAbee, 75, of Caddo Mills passed away on Feb. 1, 2013, in Caddo Mills. 

She was born in Greenville on July 26, 1937, to John and Lena Lambe. She worked for the Caddo Mills Independent School District for 25 years.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Derwin McAbee; her children, Eddie McAbee and wife Lisa of Forney, John McAbee and Jeannie Tsougarakis of Caddo Mills, James McAbee of Caddo Mills, Gail Cast and husband James of Caddo Mills and Jeanna Wendland and Randy Koon of Commerce; her brother, C.H. Lambe of Greenville and her sister Johnnie Lou Kohl of Dallas; Her grandchildren Tera, Kelady and Carlie Wendland, Shane and Becka McAbee, Scott and David McCasland, Mason, Macilah and Marshall McAbee; and two great- grandchildren.

The family would also like to give a speacial thank you to Odyssey Hospice for their kindness and wonderful help in their time of need.

Service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the Lynch Funeral Home chapel in Caddo Mills. Randall Bost will be officiating. Interment will follow service at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
