Betty Gwendolyn Jewel Strickland, 80, of Greenville passed away Jan. 29, 2013.
She was born on Jan. 22, 1933, in Graham.
She is survived by children Raymond Webb, Fonda Kapple, Dana Webb, Sondra Landrum, and William Strickland; grandchildren Jennifer Jaco McDaniel, Jeff Jaco, Joanna Jaco Ingram, Ashley Friend, Brandon Hill, Shelly Dodgson, Jordan Landrum, Kelsi Patterson, Kimberly Thurman, Shelby Strickland, William Strickland, Lance Webb, Kyle Webb, Chade Webb, William David Webb, Brandi Thompson and Traci Tanner; 28 great-grandchildren and brother Sammy Jewel.
Her husband, W.O. Strickland, preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 2005.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the Lynch Funeral Service chapel in Greenville, with visitation beginning 30 minutes prior to the service. Internment will be at Brigham Cemetery in Campbell following the service.
