Glen Alvin Westbrook of Celeste, formerly of Little Elm, died peacefully at his home early on Dec. 30.

He was born June 17, 1930, in Alba, Texas, to W.D. and Vera Westbrook. He was a retired Braniff airline mechanic and Little Elm Independent School District Director of Transportation. He was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church of the Nazarene in Greenville, and a Korean War veteran.

Survivors include wife Ruth Westbrook of Celeste; her three sons and seven grandchildren; his two daughters, Rhonda Wells of Celina, Leta Gayle Walker and her husband Kyle of Mabank; one son, Darryl Westbrook and his wife Nicky of Weatherford; seven grand children, Laura, Joshua, Jacob, Ryan, Jordan, Duncan and Brody; one sister Bonnie Ruth Green of Bedford, and one brother Roy Westbrook of Mineola.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Cornerstone Community Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Ron Hight and Rev. Marvin McDaniel officiating, preceded by visitation at 10 p.m. Interment will occur at McWright Cemetery in Celeste.
