GREENVILLE —
Joe Dell Ward Sr, 82, of Campbell, passed away on Dec. 29, 2012 in Greenville.
Joe was born on Jan. 8, 1930, in Wichita Falls to Roy and Louise Ward He served our country in the Army from 1948 to 1952.
Joe retired from General Motors after 32 years and worked at Wright Park Golf Course for 14 years. He loved to play golf, fish and farm.
On May 25, 1978 he married his loving wife Dorothy Willams. She preceded him in death on Sept. 4, 2009.
Joe is survived by his son, Joe Ward Jr. (Tony) and his wife Rosemary; daughter, Jeanie Saunders and her husband John; son, Randy Ward and his wife Suzy and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, in the chapel of Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, which is in charge of arrangments.
Visitation will be one hour before the service.
