Nell Nelson Bartlett, 86, passed away Sept. 20, 2012, in Kerrville.
She was born July 10, 1926, in Hopkins County to William Felix Long Jr. and Adelphia (Burks) Long.
Nell was a retired elementary school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold D. Nelson in 1982, and her second husband, Ora A. Bartlett in 1988.
She is survived by a daughter, Gloria McMillan of Richardson; son Steve Nelson and wife Karen of Kerrville; a sister, Betty Franks; brothers Noel Long, Billy Long and Dennis Long; grandchildren Jeff Nelson, Mike Nelson and Shelly Workman; and great-grandchildren Matthew, Megan, Harper, T.J., and Kate Nelson and Riley, Kaylan, and Kinley Workman.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Grimes Funeral Chapels in Kerrville (830-257-4544).
