Donna L. Donaldson Jones, 56, of Dallas died Sept. 11, 2012, at a Mansfield hospital. Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Price Temple C.O.G.I.C., 4905 Pickett in Greenville, with Rev. L.V. Willis officiating. Burial will be in Piney Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.
Visititation is from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Cozine & Tarver Funeral Home in Greenville.
Born Jan. 12, 1956, in Greenville, she was the daughter of Billy Clyde and Fannie McGill Donaldson.
She was a cook for the Dallas Independent School District and was a member of Mount Hebron Baptist Church in Garland.
Survivors include two sons, Tyres Donaldson (Melinda) and Marandele Donaldson, all of Dallas; two daughters, Sherlanski Donaldson and Amelia Donaldson, both of Dallas; three brothers, Billy Donaldson Jr., John Donaldson and Donald Donaldson, all of Dallas; three sisters, Virginia Chase of Garland, Lou Jane Williams of Mesquite and Rosemary Brookland of California; a niece, Toni Chase, 15 grandchildren; nieces; nephews and other relatives and friends.
Her parents, husband and a brother preceded her in death.
