GREENVILLE —
William S. Dobbs, 66, of Bonham, formally Greenville, passed away Oct. 19, 2012 in Bonham.
He was born on May 14, 1946 in Greenville to William and Jane (Scott) Dobbs.
William served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by daughters Kayla Phillips and husband Tim, Rebecca Elder and Tim Singleton, step-daughter, Tina Farr and family; grandchildren Jeremy Chester and Kara Embry; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jan Cox.
He was preceeded in death by his parents; wife, Rosey; and brother, Randall Dobbs.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pecan Gap Cemetery with Danny Tandy officiating. Online condolences may be made at lynchfuneralservice.com or heraldbanner.com.
