GREENVILLE —
Ruth Virginia Hall, 86, of Greenville passed away July 16, 2012, at Legend Healthcare. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at United Presbyter-ian Church, 5905 Stonewall, in Greenville with Rev. Chris Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Born Jan. 9, 1926, in San Antonio, Ruth was the daughter of Simon and Ann (LaRue) Garner. She was married to Bryce Meagher, who preceded her in death. She later married G.L. Hall Jr., who also preceded her in death.
She was a retired school teacher and a member of United Presbyterian Church (formerly First Presbyterian Church).
Her survivors include her son, Andy Meagher of Dallas; stepsons Lee Hall of Parker and Todd Hall of Dallas; daughters Virginia Ruelas and Nancy Pierce, both of Dallas; a brother, David Garner of Greenville; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to United Presbyterian Church Renovation and Building Fund, 5905 Stonewall, Greenville, 75402.
