Melissa Mack

Melissa Mack was born Dec. 23, 1981, in Greenville to the parentage of John and Bernice Mack.

She was a member of Mount Elem Baptist Church, where she gave her life to Christ and was baptized at an early age. In church, she sang with the Voices of M.E. Choir and served on the usher board faithfully. She attended Greenville public schools and was a Class of 2000 graduate. She went on to earn her associate’s degree from Paris Junior College in Paris, Texas.

 Melissa was employed by A&S Zerox Company, where she was very committed to receiving Employee of the Month more than once.

She departed this life on Aug. 20, 2012.

She leaves to mourn her precious memories her mother, Bernice Mack; one sister, Kimberly Mack of Greenville; brothers John Mack (Frances) of Farmersville and Cedric (Drenea) Mack of McKinney; her nephew (she was his guardian angel), Mickequion Mack; a godson, Kerrean Goree; and several niecies, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Her homegoing service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. King Whetstone serving as eulogist, followed by burial at Grundy Memorial Park.

Visitation is from 10 a.m to 7 p.m. today at Grace & Mercy-Grundy Funeral Home.
