GREENVILLE —
Anne C. Jennings, 93, of Greenville, went to be with the Lord, Aug. 10, 2012 at the Briarcliff Health Center. A memorial service will be conducted at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Mr. Gary Griffin and Rev. Larry Jordan officiating.The burial will follow at Memoryland Memorial Park.
Anne was born in Lane, Texas on Dec. 29, 1918, to Robert C. and Belle Handley Caldwell. She married Max Henry Jennings in Arkansas on July 25, 1942.
She worked has a secretary and was always a wonderful homemaker. She was a member of the Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Kay Hammond and husband Jeff of Houston; sister, Mary Caldwell of Greenville; granddaughter, Carol Anne Boyd of Ashville, N.C.; grandson, Greg Hammond of Houston; seven great-grandchildren; Kenie Blunt and family of Greenville; Gary and Mary Griffin of Greenville; niece, Ellen Fuller of Quinlan; nephew, Alan Caldwell of Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, J. E. Caldwell, and sister-in-law, Libby Caldwell.
The family would like to express a special thanks to the Briarcliff Health Center staff and Vitas Hospice for their love and special care.
