GREENVILLE —
Bobby C. Moore, 78, of Greenville passed away Aug. 9, 2012, at Legend Health Care Facility. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Marvin McDaniel officiating. Private burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Monday until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Moore was born Dec. 15, 1933, in Greenville; the son of Horace and Thelma (Crane) Moore. He was married to Joy Elaine Houser on Dec. 3, 1955, in Greenville.
He received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 1960 and retired from E-Systems in 1992 after 36 years of service with the company.
Bobby was a life member of the Hella Temple Shrine with more than 50 years of loyal service.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Mitchell Ray Moore and Hope Ann Moore of Greenville, and two grandsons Colby Garrett Moore of Dallas and Clinton Wake Moore of Greenville.
He was preceded in death by his wife in 2009, mother in 1997, father in 1985 and sister Francis Ann in 1948.
