Officers make 14 arrests Monday

GREENVILLE — Officers with the Greenville Police Department were dispatched to 88 calls Monday, took six people into custody and filed 22 reports.

The arrests included three people on outstanding warrants and one person each for violation of a protective order, public intoxication and possession of marijuana/possession of a controlled substance/prohibited substance in correctional facility.

Deputies with the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 34 calls, took eight people into custody and filed eight reports.

The arrests included four people for outstanding warrants, three people for burglary and one person for possession of marijuana.
