Latest update on Saturday shooting incident

GREENVILLE —

Anthony Lewis, the former Hunt County Constable who is alleged to have shot two people at The Harbor in Rockwall Saturday night, killing one of the victims, before being wounded in a gun battle with law enforcement officers in Greenville, remains hospitalized according to Sgt. Aaron McGrew with the Rockwall Police Department.

"The shooter is still alive, listed in critical condition at Parkland, and underwent surgery this morning for his wounds," McGrew said.

Jessica Aguilar, 33, of Rockwall has been identified as the fatality, and Francisco Delacruz, 40, of Dallas was the second shooting victim.

"The male victim is in stable condition at Baylor Med Center in Dallas," McGrew said. "All indications are he will survive his wounds."

McGrw said Lewis has been charged with murder ($1,000,000 bond) and attempted murder, with a total $1.5 million bond set.

"He will be under guard until he is released from Parkland and then will be transferred to Rockwall County Detention Center," McGrew said.
