The alleged offenses occurred five months apart and in three different locations, but they all were tied together by a connection to a Rowlett woman who has already been sentenced to prison.

Two local men have been indicted on charges of aggravated robbery and burglary in connection to a reported home invasion robbery, and a separate residential burglary in Hunt County during August.

A Quinlan man has been indicted on a separate count of aggravated robbery, involving the alleged armed hold-up of a Good Samaritan in March.

Zachary Ryan Day, 24, and Larry Michael Gomez, 52, both of Greenville and Scott Hall Gouak Jr., 31, of Quinlan, were indicted by the Hunt County grand jury Friday.

All three allegedly knew and acted alongside Karli Louise Brumit.

— Day and Gomez each received one indictment for burglary of a habitation. Gomez also received an indictment with one count of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On the morning of August 10, deputies were dispatched to a residence on County/Private Road 3141 southeast of Greenville in reference to a report of an aggravated robbery. The suspects, two males and one female, were reported to have entered the residence through the garage, wearing bandannas over their faces.

One of the suspects was reported to have pointed a pistol at the head of a teenaged victim and demanded money. The suspects stole a flat screen television, a laptop computer and keys to vehicles at the residence. The teenager was later found unharmed.

Approximately one hour later, a residence in the 400 block of FM 1564 West in Hunt County was burglarized. Investigators were able to obtain a copy of home surveillance footage, which revealed two males and one female, wearing bandannas over their faces, at the rear of the residence. One of the suspects was alleged to have pointed a gun at a dog inside the home, but did not shoot the dog. At one point, the suspects removed their masks and investigators were able to identify them as Gomez, Day and Brumit.

Gomez was arrested on the same day in Rockwall. Day was arrested late on August 18 at a residence in the Town and Country Mobile Home Park. Brumit was taken into custody early on the morning of August 19 at the intersection of Joe Ramsey Boulevard and Stonewall Street in Greenville after an eight hour manhunt.

— Gouak received one indictment for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

A deputy was on routine patrol early on the morning of March 23 and noticed a disturbance next to a  pickup parked near the intersection of County Road 3523 and Farm to Market road 2101. The deputy noticed one subject in the vehicle and two additional subjects arguing next to the vehicle arguing.

The driver of the vehicle transported Brumit to a residence at the location and as he assisted her with her belongings he was confronted by a Gouak, allegedly armed with a pistol. Brumit and Gouak were alleged to have made off with $380 in cash.

Brumit pleaded guilty in September to two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of burglary of ahabitation and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with the sentences to run concurrently. As a deadly weapon was found to have been used in the commission of the offenses, Brumit will have to spend at least five years in prison before she can be considered eligible for parole.
