Tuesday 1:45 - Pedestrain killed in accident
On Tuesday, at approxametly 7:40 a.m., Commerce Police and Fire Departments and the Texas A&M; University-Commerce Police were dispatched to a report of an auto-pedestrian accident in the 2100 block of Live Oak Street.
Commerce Police Chief Kerry Crews said officers discovered that an elderly man had been struck by a 2006 Toyota Tundra pick-up. Reportedly the individual, a retired A&M-Commerce; professor, died from injuries sustained in the incident.
