GREENVILLE — Area fire departments have already been active today, answering brush and gras fire calls across the county.
Hunt County has been listed under "very high" fire danger conditions today by the Texas Forest Service.
Hunt County is not currently listed under a ban on outdoor burning, but Collin, Kaufman and Rockwall counties are listed under burn bans today.
Much of the county is listed under significant drought conditions and there are no chances of rain in the forecast for the next several days.
A heat advisory remains in effect today, with high temperatures expected to reach 106 degrees.
