County schedules surplus equipment auction
Hunt County is slated to conduct its annual auction of surplus equipment later this month.
Among the items up for auction are 14 Ford sedans, a Chevrolet Tahoe, Dodge van, riding mower, new stainless steel refrigerator, dump trucks and various other pieces of equipment.
The auction will be conducted by René Bates Auctioneers, Inc.
Hunt County Commissioners approved the auction when they met in regular session May 26.
The auction is open to the public and information may be obtained at the auctioneer’s Web site, www.renebates.com.
The auction will open for bidding on June 15 and close at 10 a.m. on June 30.
Inspection of all items is by appointment only, and interested individuals can contact the Hunt County Purchasing Department at 903-408-4292.
McKinney-based René Bates Auctioneers, Inc., specializes in online auctions of municipal and utility company fleet vehicles and equipment.
